NEW YORK — Anabaptism is becoming a “bible for the millennials generation,” a Christian magazine that’s a bible for people in their 20s and 30s, according to its cover.
The magazine, which was launched in 2018 and has received glowing reviews for its cover image, is about “the Christian lifestyle, faith and life of a modern, millennial generation,” according to the cover.
Its first issue features a series of shots of the magazine’s editorial team, including a portrait of the editor, author and author of the cover, as well as author, blogger and speaker Rachel Taggart.
The publication has also received praise for its focus on “young Christian women.”
“I think Anabatheism is an ideal bible for all young Christian women,” Taggar, who is from the Northeast, said in a statement.
“It’s about love, family and how we live our lives and the challenges we face as we live as a family and a family together.”
The magazine’s website also includes a list of “the 10 most beautiful Anabattas” on the internet, a list that includes the editor and author, a video of an Anabathist preacher, a photo of the author and an article about her life.
Taggart has a history of making controversial comments about women.
In 2014, she said women were “more beautiful than you and me.”
Taggarts controversial comment was widely criticized.
In 2018, she was the target of a social media backlash when she said on the air of WNYC that “young women are the most beautiful people I know.”
Tagan, the founder of the publication, said she would apologize to Taggars family.
“I will not tolerate the abuse and harassment she is receiving, including online, from the far-right wing,” she said in the statement.
