Women’s lifestyle publication Women’s Life magazine has warned that men are not only “going to die early”, but are also going to “die old” because they are “so lazy”.
“Men are going to be the next generation of the lazy,” editor-in-chief, Stephanie Coddington, told the Guardian.

They can’t be told not to.
There is no excuse for not having sex.
“The magazine’s first issue of Men’s Life, which has sold nearly 30,000 copies in its 18 months on sale, has been labelled “the bible of lazy men” by the magazine’s editor-at-large, Stephanie Crockett.
The magazine has also received criticism for its portrayal of its “lazy” readers as “the lazy men”, a claim Coddowns rejects.
She said: “I think it’s just not true.
I think the men are all very happy that they are in the same boat as the women.
I think that the reason they’re all in the position they’re in is because they’re looking to make more money and have a bigger lifestyle.””

The title of the issue, Men’s Lives, was inspired by a poem by poet and poet laureate Charles Bukowski, who wrote: “A life of leisure, or a life of work, is as good as a life without leisure.
I do not believe in being lazy.”
Coddington said the title was inspired to be provocative and to challenge assumptions.
She added: “We want to take it off the shelf and say, ‘Look, I’m not just going to write this article about lazy men, I am going to do a piece about lazy women and lazy men.'”
“It’s not a sexist or racist piece.
It’s not saying, ‘Oh my God, we have these sexist, racist stereotypes of lazy, lazy women’.
It’s a piece that is about the lazy men.”
Coddown added that the magazine was “pretty clear” that men would be the “next generation of lazier people”.
The magazine, which was launched in May 2017, has seen sales soar by 40 per cent in the first two months of 2018.
