By Football Italian staff A newspaper in Turin has reported that Real Madrid have agreed to buy the defunct women`s magazine Euskadi, for $50 million.
The newspaper reports that the deal was reached between a group of Italian companies, including the Italian company Agalar, and the Italian government.
The deal is reportedly for a 20 percent stake in Euskadias parent company, which is now part of a consortium led by a consortium of investors led by the German government.
Euskadi was published in Italy from 1959 until 1989, when the Italian parliament banned its circulation.
The company later took over publishing rights from other magazines in Italy.
In addition to Euskada, the consortium also includes Italy’s Nationale Press, a subsidiary of the Spanish newspaper Marca.
