The Times Of India has asked readers of its flagship monthly Women’s Magazine to pick the best female-focused magazines from across the country.
The survey, published on Tuesday, asked respondents to name the best women-centric magazines from the country, and to rank them on a scale from 1 to 100 on a 10-point scale.
Among the magazines, the magazine Women’s Daily was the most popular among the respondents.
Women’s Day, a weekly women’s-centric publication that covers life in the workplace, was the next most popular.
The best female publications were The Times Women’s, The National and Women’s Media.
Women’s Weekly, Women’s Monthly and The Women’s Hour all ranked among the top 10, while the National was a distant fourth.
Among other magazines, The Hindu was the first to rank at the top of the list, followed by The New York Times and The Washington Post.
Women Magazine is India’s largest women’s magazine and covers issues ranging from family and child care to marriage and family life.
Its main editor, Srinivasan Banerjee, is married to the founder of the magazine, Gauri Lankesh.
